LA RAZA Mi gente runs deep, why we ONLY use Mexican and Puerto Rican Coffee beans...

I’m going to be honest—growing up, I didn’t even know Mexico grew coffee beans.
In the ‘90s, the coffee choices in my house were Folgers and Café Bustelo. Solid choices! But as a lil’ Chicano kid who loved sipping black coffee with my dad in the morning, I had no clue that my people had their own rich, bold, Mexican coffee culture.
It wasn’t until I got older and made friends with the loud Puerto Rican kids down the street that I realized coffee came from all over—Puerto Rico, Ethiopia, Costa Rica, and bruh... MEXICO.
BRUH... brrrrruuuuuuuuuhhh! My mind was blown.
Fast forward to now—me and my husband started our own specialty coffee company, and we knew from the jump that we wanted to uplift our communities by roasting Mexican and Puerto Rican coffee beans. Our goal? To roast them dark enough for Puerto Rican café con leche lovers and smooth enough to make my Mexican dad proud.
For us, it’s all about "LA RAZA & MI GENTE"—embracing Latino coffee culture, celebrating small-batch coffee, and blending it with Southern Cali vibes. But also… like… REEEEALLY gay. Like so so so so gay. 🌈☕
So when we decided to stick with Mexican and Puerto Rican coffee it was a statement of pride and exploration. We wanted to introduce Mexican Coffee and Puerto Rican recipes to the masses in SOCAL (and beyond)
So what do you say? You want want a café con leche coffee sis?
